Brief Description of Project
  • Fabrication of microfluidic paper-based analytical device (┬ÁPads) having advantages of portability, robustness and minimal sample concentration along with enhancing the sensing ability.
  • The ┬ÁPADs will be used for the detection of S2- ion, hydrogen peroxide and Glucose.
  • Sensing of standard analytics & real samples to establish the paper sensor.
Deliverable

Affordable, sensitive, specific, user-friendly, rapid and robust, equipment-free test kit for S2- ion were formed and easily delivered to those in need.

Current Status

Successfully standardised the steps of fabrication of analytical paper based device and observed satisfactory results for the detection of S2- ion till 2.5 mM concentration.
