Reforming of greenhouse gases: CO2 and CH4 over nano-size Ni- based catalyst to syngas and reclamation of spent-catalyst.

Greenhouse gases (GHG) have tremendous effect on the atmosphere temperature causing global warming. Since half of the greenhouse effect is caused by CO2 and CH4 gases. So, our aim is to reduce anthropogenic CO2 and CH4 emissions in order to counteract global warming.The syngas can be used as a fuel itself, source of hydrogen, feed for methanol production and Fisher Tropsch synthesis of motor fuels, etc.Spent catalysts contribute a significant amount of the solid wastes generated in the chemical and allied industries.
