Crop Nutrition Deficiency Sensing System

Brief Description of Project

The Farmers in India currently need to manually assess crop quality which may or may not lead to the right assessment. Over-usage or under-usage of nitrogen fertilizer can result in damage to crops. So, we are going to develop a crop nutrition deficiency system. The basic idea of this project is that we can measure the crops’ nutrients requirements using its leaves.

Now, our focus will be on nitrogen. Once implemented, we will assess our system for other nutrients.

We have successfully designed and demonstrated the prototype.
