Herbal formulations against fungal infections of skin

Brief Description of Project

The selected plants were used in the preparation of extracts in different solvents. The prepared extracts were screened for their antifungal activity and effective extracts were used in the preparation of polyherbal mixtures. These mixtures will be analyzed for their efficacy against pathogenic fungi and their toxicity evaluations will be accomplished. Further, the nontoxic polyherbal preparations will be used in the preparation of herbal formulations. The prepared formulations will then be evaluated for their effectiveness both in vitro and in vivo.
