Intelligent Street Lighting

Brief Description of Project

Our project aims at building an effective smart street lighting system that will function to provide efficient road safety along with reducing power consumption which has always been the growing concern of our society. Through our project, we aspire to fulfil the following objectives:

• Providing automatic on/off as well as dimming control mechanism to street lights
• Designing of a lighting system with minimum cost which saves work, energy and time
• A digitalized system with autonomous operations.
• Elimination of faulty streetlights in efficient manner.

Conservation of energy by ensuring the working of street lights only in the night when any vehicle passes by it.

Deliverable

We have designed a smart street lighting system to provide automatic on/off as well as dimming control mechanism to street lights.
