Smart Street Lighting System

Brief Description of Project

We propose a conservative solution to develop an intelligent street lighting system which will offer

varying degrees of illumination based on the light intensity of the surroundings. This will reduce the energy consumption, thereby saving the government large amounts of money and natural resources as the streetlights will be switched off or dimmed when not required.

Deliverable

We developed a smart street lighting system which will use smart LED’s and offer varying degrees of illumination based on the number of pedestrians and vehicles as well as the light intensity of the surroundings.
